Vikram Solar Limited has taken a big step forward in its journey to build a cleaner future. The company has been ranked among the top 1% of companies worldwide for sustainability performance. This recognition came through the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal.

The award highlights Vikram Solar’s strong focus on environment, social, and governance (ESG) practices. The company has been working on areas like energy management, greenhouse gas reduction, water stewardship, and workforce safety. It has also focused on ethical conduct and supply chain compliance to ensure responsible growth.

In addition to the global ranking, Vikram Solar was also recognized as the “Top Brand PV India 2025” by EUPD Research. This shows the company’s strength not only in building sustainable operations but also in gaining the trust of customers and industry partners.

Vikram Solar has been a leading name in India’s solar industry for nearly two decades. With 4.5 GW of operational module manufacturing capacity, it has already sold more than 7.8 GW of solar modules since its inception. The company plans to expand its module capacity to 17.5 GW and set up 12 GW of solar cell capacity by FY27.

The company is also known for innovation and reliability. It was among the first to introduce half-cut cell module technology in India and has been consistently featured in the KIWA PVEL reliability scorecard. Its labs are NABL and ILAC accredited, ensuring high-quality testing and results.

Beyond technology, Vikram Solar has taken visible steps to make its own operations greener. Its facilities are partly solarized, and it has signed renewable power purchase agreements for its plants. By focusing on both products and internal practices, the company is aligning with India’s energy transition goals.

Chairman and Managing Director Gyanesh Chaudhary and the leadership team believe that sustainability is central to growth. With a strong dealer network, projects across the country, and global presence in markets like the US, Germany, and China, Vikram Solar is positioning itself as a trusted brand for the world’s clean energy future.
