Viviana Power Tech Limited has taken a major step forward by entering the transformer manufacturing business. The company has set up a subsidiary called Aarsh Transformers Private Limited, where it holds a 75% equity stake. This move adds in-house production capability to Viviana’s existing strengths in power transmission and distribution.
Aarsh Transformers was incorporated in May 2023 and focuses on making distribution transformers. These transformers are an essential part of power distribution systems and play a key role in delivering electricity safely and efficiently. By having its own manufacturing arm, Viviana can now offer end-to-end solutions, from project execution to equipment supply.
Viviana Power Tech is already known for its work in power transmission, distribution, and industrial electrical EPC projects. The company handles supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of transmission lines, substation development, underground cabling, and system upgrades. It has worked on projects up to ±500 KV HVDC and 400 KV transmission lines, serving government utilities, private companies, and renewable energy developers.
The company’s growth has been remarkable in recent years. In FY25, Viviana’s revenue from operations touched ₹21,896 lakh, with net profit rising to ₹1,978 lakh. Its strong order book, which has now crossed ₹1,003 crore, gives the company clear revenue visibility for the coming years.
Through Aarsh, Viviana is also planning to expand capacity. The subsidiary currently produces up to 7,000 units per year with a rating capacity of 5,000 kVA. The roadmap includes scaling to 20,000 units per year and increasing transformer capacity to 20.5 MVA by FY27. The company is also preparing to launch compact substations and integrate smart AI-based sensors into its products.
With over 70 completed projects and a workforce of more than 450 people, Viviana Power Tech has built a reputation for reliability and quality. Its services are spread across several states including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and more.
Chairman and Managing Director Nikesh Kishorchandra Choksi, who has over 40 years of experience in the power sector, continues to guide the company’s growth. The management team also includes directors with expertise in project management and finance, ensuring a strong leadership base.
Viviana’s entry into transformer manufacturing reflects its long-term vision to strengthen India’s power infrastructure. By combining engineering excellence with new manufacturing capabilities, the company is positioning itself as a complete solution provider in the energy sector.
